It's been a while since I've written, but this time I have a really good excuse: I have been preparing for the WIWC. What's that? The Windsor International Writers Conference that will be taking place May 5 through 8 in Windsor, Canada—so you still have time to register (go to www.wi-wc.org). This one is jam-packed with good stuff, including five writing contests. Those are what I've been working on. There is still time to enter, but not much. The contest deadline is March 31, but it's worth checking into.

Windsor is easy to get to, being just across the river from Detroit. There is shuttle transport you can reserve (www.robertq.com) from Detroit's airport directly to Windsor's Holiday Inn where the conference is to be held. Will I see you there?
